SRF has spent the past year diligently employing your generous contributions towards accelerating the development of therapies to prevent, treat, and cure the diseases of aging. Just this year we’ve spoken at longevity conferences, highlighted our work with US policy makers and global leaders in health, submitted patents and publications on our research, educated dozens of students, supported translational therapies in their journey to market, and so much more.
This End of Year Campaign focuses on SRF and the relationships we have built over the last couple years. These collaborations grow the effectiveness of our community and industry, extending our reach and deepening our impact to target directly the diseases and disabilities of aging. Every week we highlight a new organization and the real-world impact they are making to turn our mission into reality.
Follow us on social media and learn about these amazing organizations over the next eight weeks.

About Oxford Society of Ageing and Longevity
The Oxford Society of Ageing and Longevity has a two-pronged approach to support humanity in reaching this goal. Firstly, we want to educate the public about the biological process of ageing, how it eventually leads to diseases, and the enormous impact these diseases have on society. We particularly want to stress the fact that ageing is not an immutable part of life but can be controlled through various interventions.
The goal is to have the public support scientists and companies working on ageing, and to raise awareness amongst politicians and policymakers to enable them to take this field seriously, for example, by promoting research and supporting the adoption of rejuvenation therapies. Secondly, we intend to connect researchers, investors, and organisations involved in the ageing and longevity field to increase the pace of progress.
We also hope, through our activities, to inspire people who have previously not been involved in this field to become active champions of this worthwhile endeavour – whether it be as public proponents, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, politicians, policymakers, etc.
Together we can reach these goals by increasing not only our lifespan but our healthspan. Together we can bring an end to ageing.
Watch SRF’s Director of Academic Affairs, Dr. Lilli Fishman presentation to the Oxford Society of Ageing and Longevity. Her talk, titled “Learning Longevity: Academic and Career Opportunities in Longevity Science” that provides an in-depth look into the evolving landscape of longevity research:
SENS Research Foundation works to develop, promote, and ensure widespread access to therapies that cure and prevent the diseases and disabilities of aging by comprehensively repairing the damage that builds up in our bodies over time. We are redefining the way the world researches and treats age-related ill health, while inspiring the next generation of biomedical scientists.
