Thank you to all of our donors for your generous and far-sighted support! These funds are war bonds in the fight against aging. Instead of tanks and bombers, your support buys our scientists everything from the pipettes to the cell-sorters to the rent on the lab that keeps them at work, developing rejuvenation biotechnologies to fight the deadliest and most disabling diseases – the diseases of aging.
Our scientists are now putting those funds to work. They are clearing out the amyloid proteins that accumulate in our hearts and slowly grind their beating to a stop. They are creating “backup copies” of the vulnerable genes in our mitochondria to keep our muscles strong. They are seeding our brains with engineered microglia that will create the new neurons that will keep our minds from falling into the confused webs of Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. They’re smuggling damaged cholesterol products out of our arteries to prevent and reverse the single greatest cause of death worldwide (atherosclerosis — a classic disease of aging). They are identifying the critical damage in our arteries whose removal or replacement will prevent the terrible acute death and incapacity that comes with a stroke. And yes, they are disarming the bomb built into our cells to banish cancer from our future forever.
Your tokens will go where your heart rages most against the injustice of aging — but we all know that for a future free of age-related disease and death, we must develop the entire SENS platform, and every form of damage within each plank. With your help this week, we will take the fight to every foe. Help us Leave No Damage Unchallenged!
A New Way to Donate!
In collaboration with digital artist
Based on measuring live cellular cultures in our lab (and other metrics of global wellness) each unique NFT was tied to one of our seven damage-repair research programs. Fully tradable NFTs mark your contribution to ending the diseases of aging. Proceeds from the sale of each NFT will fund SRF research, and if you purchased by December 31st, you were also able to earn tokens you can use to vote for the SENS research program you wanted to receive a new RFP for 2023.

Many Other Ways to Donate!
2022 was a transformational year for SRF as we doubled our lab space and expanded our team across the board. With new facilities to conduct cutting-edge research into reversing the damage of aging, we’re ready to expand our research programs. We are inviting you to support this historic expansion of our programs by making a donation today. Even though our 2022 campaign has ended, our mission continues, and your donation is still more important than ever!
Donors were able to support their favorite Strands!
The strand that received the most support will receive a new RFP (Request for Proposals) for 2023!
Let’s challenge the diseases of aging together!
Thank you again for participating in our 2022 End of Year Campaign to support critical work to end age-related disease.
Our supporters know that since our founding we have continuously operated at the forefront of innovation in medical research. In the same spirit, we embrace exciting and innovative ways to fund our vital work.
Through this campaign, we’ve highlighted each of our 7 Strands of research to challenge the seven types of damage that cause the diseases of aging.
Each week, we featured one of the 7 Strands, and with two new ways to support our work.
In collaboration with digital artist Soliman Lopez, we presented VI7A – a historic NFT, digital bio-art collection. The VI7A project minted unique NFT works of art that you can purchase. Each NFT was based on one of the SENS 7 Strands, and was connected to live data streams from cell cultures in our Research Center by means of electrodes and an oscilloscope. NFTs were fed information about the cells creating a one-of-a-kind art work every minute.
Donations made between November 6 and December 31 earned voting tokens which could be used to vote for one of the 7 strand projects as part of the Web3-style gamification of the fundraising effort. NFT owners also earned tokens to vote.
With weekly videos by Life Noggin, AMAs with SRF researchers, scientific animations and other materials, we created an informative campaign so that together we can Leave No Damage Unchallenged!
Removing Dysfunctional Cells
Preventing Damage from Mitochondrial Mutations
Clearing Waste Accumulations Out of Cells
Repairing the Extracellular Matrix
Replacing Lost Cells
Making Cancerous Mutations Harmless
Removing Junk from Between Cells
There are a wide range of ways to donate in support of our work – and ANY donation made between November 6 and December 31 will earn you SRF tokens to vote for your favorite strand!:
