The longest running project at the SRF Research Center, the MitoSENS team has made ground-breaking discoveries in allotopic expression.
Dr. Tesfahun Admasu was selected as the first recipient of the Forever Healthy Foundation Fellowship in Rejuvenation Biotechnology, which began in summer 2019.
Listen to Edward James Olmos describe why SENS is invaluable to defeating aging.
SRF is uniquely focused on a damage repair approach to treating the diseases of aging. This approach has amazing potential to positively affect the human condition by giving people interventions and treatments that yield more years of healthy, productive life.
We do intramural research at our own Research Center in Mountain View, CA, fund extramural work at top universities and institutes around the world, and invest in companies moving rejuvenation biotech into the clinic.
Many things go wrong with aging bodies, but at the root of them all is the burden of decades of unrepaired damage to the cellular and molecular structures that make up the functional units of our tissues. As each essential microscopic structure fails, tissue function becomes progressively compromised – imperceptibly at first, but ending in the slide into the diseases and disabilities of aging.
SENS Research Foundation’s strategy to prevent and reverse age-related ill-health is to apply the principles of regenerative medicine to repair the damage of aging at the level where it occurs…
The SRF Research Center is our internal research laboratory, and the core of our intramural research efforts.
We fund work at some of the top universities and research institutions in the world.
Discusses progress in the field of longevity, and therapies to cure, reverse and prevent the diseases of aging.
SRF funded research spans academia, industry, and regulatory landscapes.
SRF offers internships and fellowships to undergrads, post-baccs, doctoral students, and post docs.
SRF accepts grant proposals for any research project that falls under the SENS damage-repair paradigm. Submit your Letter of Intent for review by the Research Development Committee.
