Aging: the Disease, the Cure, the Implications

On June 27 2008, the Methuselah Foundation hosted "Aging: the Disease, the Cure, the Implications" (ADCI), a free public symposium at the University of California, Los Angeles, immediately preceding the scientific conference "Understanding Aging: Biomedical and Bioengineering Approaches" (UABBA).

The symposium was designed to allow members of the public to hear from and interact with leading aging researchers, public policy experts and advocates. Speakers included Bernard Siegel, Executive Director of the Genetics Policy Institute; Daniel Perry, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aging Research; and world-leading bioscience entrepreneur Michael West, CEO of BioTime, Inc.
