Abstract:
(excerpt below) We first report conjugal MSA-C in a Japanese couple. We excluded the possibilities of shared environments or genetic factors. We cannot exclude the possibility of person-to-person transmission in this couple. The study might support the prion-like propagation of α-synuclein hypothesis in MSA.
